Biography

Omar is an Economist and the Managing Director of ITI Integrating Economies GmbH (ITI). With a distinguished career in economic development, Omar has demonstrated exceptional expertise in attracting and facilitating foreign direct investment (FDI), developing policy frameworks, and designing government incentive strategies. Their work spans supporting European, African, and Middle Eastern clients through every stage of cross-border investment expansion.

Prior to his role at ITI, Omar worked as an Economic Consultant at OCO Global, the industry global leading organisation, where Omar successfully led major FDI attraction initiatives between the Middle East and Europe. Their effort focused on bringing European companies to the Gulf region and North Africa while facilitating market entry for global businesses expanding into Europe.

Omar began their career as an FDI Consultant at Conway Data, leading site selection organisation headquartered in Atlanta, USA. In this role, Omar managed site selection and FDI promotion projects across Europe and the Americas as well as represented leading investment promotion agencies across Europe and the Middle East, further solidifying his expertise in international economic development.

Omar holds an MSc in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam, an LL.M in the Economic Analysis of Laws from the University of Hamburg, and a BSc in Quantitative Economics from Loughborough University. Their multidisciplinary academic background equips them with a unique blend of analytical, legal, and economic insights to deliver impactful solutions in the field of FDI and economic policy.
